Establish export sales strategy (sales and revenue volumes, sales territories, timing, brand positioning)
Conduct due diligence on potential importers
Collaborate with winery to negotiate terms and appoint importers
Manage day-to-day communications, monthly check-ins, and/or semi-annual business reviews as needed to strengthen relationship and attain sales objectives
Organize impactful market visits for winery as needed
Manage submissions of wine tenders to importers
Provide quarterly updates to winery management
Ensure presentations and marketing collateral localized and best in class
Work with winery to establish sustainable A&P budgets in line with importers’ sales objectives
Ensure available resources maximized from trade organizations and US government agencies
Participation in key international trade shows
Coordinate winery visits by key international clients
Coordinate sample shipments with winery – evaluations, tenders, trade shows, etc.
Streamline export logistics, compliance, and ordering
Collaborate with winemaking, procurement, and marketing teams to maximize opportunities
